ABA Therapy Programs
At Project MIND, everything we do is guided by one goal: to help children and young adults grow with confidence and thrive. To do this, we don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach when designing our programs because we know that each child is unique.
Our two programs, School Readiness and Social Skills Group Therapy, are designed to meet each child’s strengths, challenges, and their stage of development. For us, it’s about nurturing children in a safe, warm, and fun environment so they can thrive later in life!

School Readiness Program
Starting school is one of the biggest milestones in your child’s life, and for children with developmental differences, it can also be one of the most overwhelming. We understand this, and that’s why we have our Pre-K Readiness ABA Program to make the transition between therapy and school seamless.
What is school readiness? School readiness is more than just your ABCs. It’s about:
- Communicating with teachers and peers
- Listening and following directions
- Focusing on completing tasks
- Regulating emotions
- Playing and sharing

These are the foundational skills children need for lifelong learning, and our program is designed to help build and nurture these skills. We do this by using evidence-based ABA strategies combined with a true preschool curriculum that meets Nevada’s Pre-K requirements.
This is done in a classroom, allowing children to experience all aspects of learning in a real classroom while receiving one-on-one support when needed.
The benefits of our program:
- Children will be bringing home things every week to keep them engaged and excited
- Our curriculum meets the requirements of Nevada’s Pre-K program
- Our curriculum has educational content in it
Social Skills Program
Good social skills are more than just making friends (which is important too!) but also about building a foundation of independence that will take children and young adults far in life. What makes this program so unique is that we don’t use drills and worksheets. We use good old plain fun! We help children and young adults live out social situations in fun and engaging ways.
Our social skills program focuses on:
- Encouraging peer interaction in a fun and authentic way, like hanging out, playing board games, and eating together
- Strengthening independence in daily life
- Teaching conflict resolution
The benefits of the social skills program:
- Learning how to be comfortable or bored with themselves
- Learning how to be appropriate with friends
- Strengthening life skills like cooking

Why Choose Us?
At Project MIND, we focus on caring for the child as a whole rather than fixing a diagnosis, and this shows:
- We believe in real-life learning. No boring worksheets!
- Our care is flexible and family-centered
- We create a safe and supportive environment that is fun
- We have over six years of experience, and our specialists are highly trained
