Pre-K Readiness ABA Program In North Las Vegas

Starting school is one of the biggest milestones in your child’s life. For children with developmental differences, this can feel overwhelming. At Project MIND, our Pre-K Readiness ABA Program helps make the leap smoother and joyful for you and your child.

This program isn’t just about academics. It’s about giving your child a strong social, behavioral, and learning foundation. They’ll need them so they can walk into the classroom with confidence!

Despite what many think, school readiness is much more than the ABCs. It’s a set of foundational skills that children can use to:

Without these skills, your child spends most of their first school year “catching up.” Our program ensures they are ready to thrive from day one.

About Project MIND

Our qualified team is ready to answer your questions!

Our blended learning approach provides children with one-on-one support when needed. This is done in a classroom-like environment. Because we’ve been doing this since 2019, we’ve heard a lot of questions and concerns like:

“My child won’t be able to do this without 1:1 support.”

That’s okay! Our program meets children wherever they are by providing individual support. Over time, we’ll gradually introduce group routines.

“Why are we focused on academics when my child needs to learn to sit at a table first?”

We agree! Sitting, listening, and following routines come first. We teach these in an educational environment, so when your child is ready, they can apply them in a classroom.

“Why go to you instead of just sending my child to school?”

Often, public schools already expect children to have certain skills. our program ensures children are ready to participate and not just attend.

“How does this help at home?”

Reducing challenging behaviors and building self-regulation helps children move between school and home. This leads to easier transitions and more positive interactions.

How Our Pre-K Readiness ABA Program Helps

Our program blends evidence-based ABA strategies with a true preschool curriculum that meets Nevada’s Pre-K requirements. The environment looks and feels like a classroom with a fun, and supportive atmosphere.

Our school readiness program is about getting your children ready for the classroom. It’s not a daycare or standard ABA session. We like to think of it as a bridge to school.

Our program includes:

The Goals of Our School Readiness Program

We know that every child is unique and their journey may not be linear, and that’s okay! Progress can look a little different to somebody else, but families often see progress like:

How It Works

Every child has different needs. Creating a plan that meets those needs requires a thorough assessment.

This starts with a parent interview where we will learn about your child’s history, strengths, and challenges. Parents will also have to meet our parent training requirement.

Once your child is ready, we will start the program with integration into the classroom. This begins with a one-on-one session that we will gradually fade out.
